Day 1: Friday, March 12, 2027 Overnight Flight

You’re on your way to Iceland, a land and culture forged by fire and ice. Where steaming lava fields and massive glaciers sculpt mountains and valleys, leaving thundering waterfalls and plunging fjords. In this land of many natural wonders, enjoy the rare opportunity to search for the aurora borealis — one of nature’s most dazzling light displays, also known as the northern lights.*

Day 2: Saturday, March 13, 2027 Arrive Reykjavík, Iceland

Your tour opens today in Iceland’s capital city, Reykjavík. Enjoy time to get to know the place where your journey begins.

Day 3: Sunday, March 14, 2027 Reykjavík

Enjoy a morning of leisure. This afternoon, get acquainted with old town Reykjavík on a walking tour with a local guide to see the harbour, city hall, the Parliament building, and the nearby cathedral dating back to 1796. Gather with your fellow travellers at a popular restaurant for dinner featuring Icelandic cuisine. This evening, take an adventurous northern lights cruise** and sail into the darkness of Faxaflói Bay in search of the aurora borealis.* (B, D)

Day 4: Monday, March 15, 2027 Reykjavík – Golden Circle – Vik
Travel the Golden Circle this morning to experience natural wonders, including the explosive Geysir thermal area and the double-cascade Gullfoss waterfall. Venture to the famous Thingvellir National Park and stand upon the crest of the MidAtlantic Ridge. In the afternoon, stop at the Lava Exhibition Centre and delve into Iceland’s past and present volcanic eruptions. Afterward, witness Seljalandsfoss, a rushing waterfall where you may walk behind the water for unique views from the inside out. Next, continue on to Vík. Drive, or venture on foot, into the stillness of rural Iceland in search of the northern lights. Day 5: Tuesday, March 16, 2027 Vik – Reynisfjara – Vík

Begin your day with a journey to Reynisfjara, the volcanic black sand beach famous for its basalt columns and rugged sea stacks just offshore. Next, visit the Skógar Museum and discover its turf-built homes and artefacts. Afterward, stand in awe before the impressive Skógafoss waterfall, one of Iceland’s biggest and most beautiful waterfalls. Cap off your day with a visit to Sólheimajökull Glacier, Iceland’s fourth largest glacier. After dinner, gaze at the

Day 6: Wednesday, March 17, 2027 Vik – Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon – Vík

This morning, travel to Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon, filled with floating icebergs. Explore this extraordinary landscape and search for seals swimming in cold waters. After dinner back in Vík, continue searching for the northern lights dancing across the night sky.* (B, D)

Day 7: Thursday, March 18, 2027 Vík – Blue Lagoon – Reykjavík

Drive along the south shore towards the Reykjanes Peninsula. Known for its rugged landscape, lava fields, and numerous hot springs, the peninsula is home to the Blue Lagoon. Take a dip in the warm, mineral-rich waters of the geothermal pool, located in the heart of a dramatic lava field. Return to Reykjavík for your dinner and overnight stay. (B, D)

With no scheduled activities through the afternoon, spend the day as you wish, exploring the city independently. This evening, gather with new

Day 10: Sunday, March 21, 2027 Helsinki

Join a local expert for an engaging city tour. If Finland’s heart beats in Helsinki, then Helsinki’s core is the Empire-style Senate Square, home of the
iconic Helsinki Cathedral. Drive through the charming neighbourhoods of the city and visit the Church in the Rock, a Lutheran place of worship excavated directly into solid rock. Continue to see the steel monument dedicated to the worldfamous composer Jean Sibelius. This afternoon, take time to explore more of Helsinki independently. (B)

Day 11: Monday, March 22, 2027 Helsinki – Kakslauttanen – Northern Lights Search

Escape to northernmost Finland’s winter wonderland on board a flight to Ivalo and magical Lapland. Like a storybook come to life, Lapland’s culture is steeped in myth and legend. Relish a sled ride with reindeer and unspoiled views of the northern lights.* At the remote Kakslauttanen Resort, spend two
nights in your very own Kelo Glass igloo** indulging in your own personal Finnish sauna. Take the motor coach north towards Inari on a chase for the northern lights.* Stops along the pursuit allow you the chance to witness nature’s dazzling, electric light show.* (B, L, D)

Day 12: Tuesday, March 23, 2027 Kakslauttanen – Northern Lights Search

Hit the snow and mush yourself to breakfast aboard your own authentic Finnish sleigh. After a leisurely breakfast, meet Santa’s elves, who will take you to meet Santa Claus in his own home. Learn about Santa’s origins during a warm and friendly conversation at his house. After dinner, under the
Arctic moonlight, a reindeer farmer introduces you to some friendly Lappish reindeer. Set out on an exhilarating reindeer safari through remote Kakslauttanen. Then step inside a Lappish teepee, or kota, and sip warm berry juice (a Finnish tradition) around an open fire while gaining insight into the importance of reindeer herding to the Sámi indigenous culture. The search for the elusive northern lights* continues in the surround of northern

Day 13: Wednesday, March 24, 2027 Kakslauttanen – Northern Lights Search

Breathe in the fresh Arctic air this morning and step into the role as leader of your own dog sled team. Zoom through the wilderness on a husky safari, driving your husky guides that are as fast as they are adorable. Spend some time getting to know these amazing dogs and learn about their different commands. You’ll also be introduced to the equipment you’ll need to experience this incredible Arctic adventure at its best. Enjoy your last night in the heart of the Lappish wilderness, nestled in your incredible and unique glass igloo.*** You may even see the northern lights* dancing overhead from the comfort of your own bed. Day 14: Thursday, March 25, 2027 Kakslauttanen – Helsinki
